About Shashana
Shashana is a Licensed Clinical social worker/Therapist. Licensed in the state of Maryland. With over fifteen years of experience and training. Also a Board Approved supervisor. Working in professional settings to include, Department of social services, Department of Probation, and Opioid maintenance/substance abuse centers. Within the last 5 years she has helped individuals by providing clinical therapy. It is said sometimes, when you find work you are passionate about you will not ever work. Shashana has found that passion in providing individual therapy and empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and to achieve realistic goals and to find solutions to problematic situations getting in the way of living a healthy lifestyle.
Her therapeutic style is the ability to be an active listener, to provide warm, compassionate, responsible, respectful, and supportive communication and feedback. Shashana will always offer a safe space to be heard, an opportunity to communicate and explore your truth and to move forward in a positive direction.
